Order Processing & Payment Policy
All orders are prepaid with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, or Google Checkout.
All orders are charged on the date they are placed. When you place an order, Interknobs immediately sends an order confirmation to the e-mail address you have specified.
Lead Times and Shipment Origination
Note that the lead times (typical durations between the placement of your order and shipment) displayed in our product descriptions are guidelines and are always subject to being lengthened by a factory backorder. In the instance of a lead time extension, you will be contacted and given the option to cancel or modify your order.
In certain cases, your order may contain items from multiple brands. Thus, the items will ship separately and you may receive packages on different days.
All orders under $99 ship within the continental USA for a flat rate of $7.50. Free Standard (Ground) Shipping is provided for orders of $99 or greater.
Most orders ship via UPS Ground, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail.
Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge on all orders except those containing oversized items. These services include Next Day, 2 Day, and 3 Day shipping. You can select these shipping options in the shopping cart during the checkout process. Please note that these shipping services increase the speed of shipping only and do not have bearing on product production and/or lead times. Typically, expedited orders of in-stock merchandise placed before 12 PM EST on business days will ship the same day. We will ship knobs and pulls to almost any country outside of the USA. Shipping via Priority Mail International, in stock hardware will typically be delivered within 1-3 weeks of order placement depending on transit time and your country's customs process. If your project is extremely time sensitive and you require expedited shipping, please e-mail us with your request.
During checkout, you can select international shipping options in the shopping cart for Europe, Great Britain, Canada, and Australia. For other destinations, simply e-mail us to quickly receive a shipping charge quotation.
In many cases, your government may collect duties or taxes directly from you for the imported merchandise. These charges are outside of our control.
If you wish to return a full order or certain components of an order, Interknobs.com must be notified within 30 days of delivery. All items should be returned in their original packaging and in the condition received. When you receive your order, we highly recommend opening only one of each item to ensure your satisfaction before proceeding with installation and to guarantee that the items are in resalable condition should you opt to return them. We also recommend taking advantage of our sample program so you make the most educated purchase possible and avoid the potential hassle of shipping a return.
Some special order items cannot be returned and this will be noted in their online descriptions.
Interknobs.com offers two reimbursement options: (1) Exchange or (2) Refund with a 25% restocking fee.

Indicate your original invoice/sales order number.
Indicate the items you would like to return and the model numbers you would like to order in exchange.
A separate order will be processed and charged for the replacement items. Interknobs.com will then e-mail you with return instructions, including the correct shipping address and any applicable RGA codes. Please be advised that it may take a few business days to provide this information, depending on the manufacturer’s response time. Once supplied with this information, please ship your return merchandise within 14 days to ensure that credit is properly applied.
When the return merchandise is received and inspected, you will be credited less the cost of the original order’s shipping and handling (if any) and a 10% restocking fee. If the exchange order is equal or greater in value to the original purchase, we will waive the restocking fee. No credit will be given for merchandise that is received opened or damaged.
Please note that you may defer the value of an exchange return as a store credit if you need time to make decisions. Simply indicate that you wish to do so in your e-mail. Store credits are valid for six months and are equal to the returned merchandise less the cost of the original order’s shipping and handling (if any).

Processing of Refunds
Your refund will be applied to the credit card or Paypal/Google Checkout account used to place the order. We try to process credits as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 30 days for your refund to post to your account before contacting us.
Late and Non-Procedural Returns
We do our best to process all returns. However, if you do not contact us before sending a return or do not follow the specific instructions given, we cannot guarantee that your return and refund will be processed.
Inaccurate Shipping Addresses
You are responsible for providing us with an accurate shipping address, including any applicable street numbers and apartment numbers. If the shipment carrier cannot deliver due to an incorrect or undeliverable address and the shipment is returned to the sender, our return policy will become applicable (you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and a 25% restocking fee).
Receiving Your Order
Most of our suppliers will not require a signature upon delivery of your package. However, we highly recommend that you specify a shipping address where you or another trusted adult is present. If you would prefer that we require signature at delivery, please contact us at 1-877-820-9224 and we will make arrangements. A small surcharge may apply.
For standard deliveries, we consider a package as having been delivered when we can provide tracking information that indicates this to be the case.
Occasionally, packages may be left with someone who has accepted the package on your behalf such as a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or building manager. Packages may also be left at your front door, garage, or tucked behind bushes out of plain view.
If you are present during a delivery, do not refuse the package unless you notice freight damage to the parcel. If there is damage, please bring it to the driver’s attention.
If you do not want the package for another reason (perhaps you changed your mind and no longer want the order), it is usually safer and more cost effective to receive the order and obtain an RGA than to refuse delivery. If you refuse delivery, we will need to pass along any additional carrier charges incurred by the return shipment PLUS the 25% restocking fee.
Billing Address Differs from Shipping Address
In an effort to prevent fraud, we may contact you for further verification if your requested shipping address differs from your billing address.
We reserve the right to change pricing on this website at any time.
Due to the high volume of product details and descriptions being displayed, added, and edited on this website, there are rare occasions in which human error leads to a data input error. In the instance that this occurs, you will be contacted as soon as possible and given the correct pricing.
In the extremely rare instance that you notice a discrepancy or duplicate charge on your bank statement, please contact us and we will correct the matter. Please contact Interknobs.com before your financial institution, as this always results in a quicker resolution to the problem.
Coupon Codes and Free Shipping Offers
Interknobs coupon codes give a specified percentage discount to a specified minimum subtotal. Only one coupon code can be applied per order and coupon codes typically expire after a specified date.
If you place an order utilizing a coupon code, we highly advise verifying the required quantities of each item to ensure accuracy. If you need to place a future order because of a shortage, it is likely the case that this smaller purchase will not meet the minimum requirements for the coupon discount. We cannot honor discounted prices for future orders that do not meet the minimum subtotal threshold for the coupon code or if the code has expired.
The same terms apply to free shipping. If you need to place a future order because of a shortage, it is likely the case that this smaller purchase will not meet the minimum requirements for free shipping. We cannot honor free shipping for orders that do not meet the minimum subtotal threshold ($99) for free shipping.
All orders shipped to New York State residents/businesses are subject to the applicable sales tax, unless proof of tax exemption is provided.
Orders for in-stock merchandise may be cancelled for a full refund if they have not yet been shipped. If you decide to cancel an order and it has already been shipped, our return policy becomes applicable to the termination of the sale.
Some special order items cannot be cancelled or returned and this will be noted in their online descriptions.
Damaged/Defective/Wrong Item(s) Policy
Please open and inspect all merchandise within 2 business days of receipt.
If an item is damaged or defective or if incorrect product was received, you must notify customer service within 2 business days. We will ship replacement items ASAP and provide pre-paid shipping service for the return merchandise. If you opt to return the damaged, defective, or incorrect item(s) without receiving replacements, our return policies become applicable, including any restocking fees.
Seller's liability on any claim of any kind, including claims based upon Seller's negligence, breach of contract, indemnity, equity, contribution, or strict liability in tort, for any loss or damage arising out of, or connected with, or resulting from the use of the products furnished hereunder or Seller's performance of this contract, shall in no case exceed the purchase price allocable to the goods or part thereof which give rise to the claim.
In no event shall Seller be liable for third-party claims against the customer or special, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to malfunction, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, loss or damage or punitive damages) howsoever arising out of seller's performance and notwithstanding whether seller may have been advised or is advised of the possibility of special (or liquidated) damages.
All warranties or guarantees are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products displayed on this website.
